At Acquia Engage 2021, 1xINTERNET won the Regional Excellence EMEA Awards with a multisite solution built for the Schwabe Group.
The Schwabe Group is a manufacturer of plant-based pharmaceutical and health products, such as well-known brands Lasea, Umckaloabo and Tebonin. With a successful history of more than 150 years, they employ over 4000 specialists in 16 countries and have an annual turnover of around 1 billion EUR.
Before implementing the multisite solution for the whole company, the Schwabe Group was facing a lot of challenges. The maintenance costs of multiple web properties were constantly rising, and security updates became increasingly complicated. To gain more control and centralized management over all their online businesses, Schwabe Group reached to 1xINTERNET.
