Baddy, Christoph and Stefan went over last year at 1xINTERNET

Last week at the 1xINTERNET offices you could almost smell the excitement for the coming weekend. On Friday we had our annual Christmas party and this year we met up in Berlin to celebrate. As you can imagine, when we have a team working all over Europe, just seeing each other is always a special event. Our team members flew in from Iceland, Belgium, Spain, Poland, Romania and then a big part of our team took the train from Frankfurt. It was magical. Everyone in their best spirit ready to have an amazing time.

Team 1xINTERNET

Some of us were seeing the Berlin office for the first time which was nice, but in the evening we met in CELO PRIVATE BAR. We had our yearly presentation from Baddý, Stefan and Christoph were they informed us about all the exciting things waiting for us the coming next year.  We ate, drank and sang, and then we had some more drinks! Some people were meeting for the first time but in all honesty, it felt like a family gathering. Because even though families live in different places, there is a reason we try to go home for the holidays.

Fun in Berlin!

We are 17 different nationalities at 1xINTERNET, we speak 15 different languages, one of us speaks with sign language but its no barrier for great communication. We have different ways of looking at things and we have different traditions in our home countries, but we are all 1xINTERNET’rs at heart.

One of our team members Pablo, had his birthday that same day so it was a double celebration. He was lucky as #1xCHOIR sang the birthday song for him in all of our languages and there it hit me. If you do things with your heart, it’s going to work out. It does not matter what language you speak or where you sit, if the heart is in the right place, your head is focused and the direction is clear, it's going to give you a great result.

See Pablo's birthday song here:

It was a fantastic night and a great way to end 2019. We are all excited to see what challenges and projects 2020 will bring us, but we are ready for it!
