A gathering of innovation and community

This year, DrupalCon took place in Barcelona and, as in previous years, we were proud to be Platinum Sponsors. DrupalCon is a vibrant celebration of the Drupal community, where developers, designers, marketers, and business leaders come together to share ideas, collaborate, and innovate. This year was no exception, and we enjoyed engaging with fellow Drupal users and makers.

1xINTERNET, has always been passionate about being a maker in the Drupal ecosystem, the entire company takes pride in the commitment to the Drupal project and community engagement. Looking back at the highlights of this year's event, it’s clear that DrupalCon continues to be a place for creativity and growth, significantly shaped by contributions from organisations and individuals.

A hub of knowledge sharing

One of the most compelling aspects of DrupalCon is the wealth of knowledge shared across diverse sessions. This year, the conference featured an impressive line-up of talks, workshops, and panels that suited both experienced developers and newcomers to Drupal.

DriesNote

Without a doubt, DriesNote is a highlight of the conference for the majority of attendees. During his 40th DriesNote this year, Dries Buytaert did not disappoint, leaving the audience inspired and excited about the future of Drupal with the Drupal CMS update. For a deeper look into this topic and what it means for Drupal, we recommend the article “DrupalCon Barcelona - A seminal moment in Drupal’s history” by Paul Johnson, where he breaks down the status of the Drupal CMS to date.

1xINTERNET bringing in the Barcelona vibes

The 1xINTERNET booth was buzzing with activity as we welcomed a variety of guests for important conversations throughout the conference. Our marketing and design team worked hard to create a vibrant atmosphere that reflected the essence of Barcelona. Highlights included a glow-in-the-dark room showcasing company information, live art by Denize de Araujo Sanches and Caroline Selmes as well as some impressive pro Yo-Yo tricks.

The artwork at our booth was created by local artist Bruno Lamborde, but if you take a walk around Barcelona, you’ll find amazing graffiti art everywhere. A highlight in our booth was the custom-designed Nike Air Force shoes by Bruno, which now have a new owner - congratulations to Lenny Moskalyk!
