1xINTERNET and Schwabe at Acquia Experience Germany
Last month, Baddý Sonja Breidert CEO at 1xINTERNET, and Alex Reisenauer, Director of Global digital marketing at Schwabe group were invited to present their newest project at Acquia Experience Germany. At the event, they went over how the digital landscape has been improved at Schwabe with a 1xDXP Multi-Site Management solution. The talk is published in this blog post.
Schwabe’s challenge
The Schwabe group comprises several different affiliated companies in the pharmaceutical and health industry. Operating in 16 different markets worldwide the company was facing problems managing their online businesses, with maintenance costs going up and increasing complications with security updates. To gain control the company decided to start developing a multisite solution for future web properties and that’s where 1xINTERNET got involved.
What was the solution for Schwabe?
Schwabe got 1xINTERNET to build a new CMS platform that would simplify all digital admin work for the company and at the same time strengthen the brand and improve user experience across all markets. Being fast to market is an important factor for a company like Schwabe and the 1xDXP Multisite Solution has made this possible.
Using Storybook, a design system was created for all required components that could be shared between all websites across the organization. After the design system launch, 1xINTERNET created the CMS for it to run sustainably.
The solution: A 1xDXP Multi-Site Management system, with Drupal backend-based technology, hosted on Site Factory from 1xINTERNET Premium Partner, Acquia.
